Captains log 20 April, Reliance

After a couple days of big seas on north shore, Mother Nature turned down the wave knob today. While the conditions off of St Croix where a lot like the roads on St Croix, bumpy, surprisingly amazing visibility greeted the divers on the dive sites.

Rays, turtles, Eels, and porcupine fish were out and about during the morning dives. The highlight was a school of 6-8 Reef Squid (Inky-us when Mandy-us) performing an underwater synchronized swimming display.

In the afternoon, 10 year old Lucy wanted to discover Scuba diving and see some Turtles.
While we spotted 3 on the ride out, Cory found three underwater for her as well as huge Elk horn corals, red lipped blennies, a spotted Eel, goatfish, pufferfish, jacks yellow tailed snapper, and a Caribbean Reef Shark.
The weekends coming and the conditions great, let's get wet!
