

Yes, Captain Cook is at
SCUBA.
Scott
is a USCG Master,
and PADI Instructor. Scott and his wife
have been on St. Croix for several years.
He originally worked for
Another Dive Center on St. Croix
but took the plunge to work for our
award winning dive staff in the summer
of 2009.


Susie Shipman
is a Captain and PADI Instructor
from Canada. She moved here with
her husband (our own Captain Ed
married them back in September)
who's a pilot for the seaplane.


Jeff Elvins,
is a Coast Guard Captain
who also runs his own pool company here on St. Croix


John ,
is a Captain and PADI Instructor
orginally from Sioux City, Iowa.
He moved to San Francisco Bay Area and
1987
and met his wife Mary Ann in 1990.
He was a director for an agency for
the developmentally disabled
for 22 years before deciding to move to St.
Croix and dive full time.


After 5 years of sitting in a finance office for 13 hours a day, Jon woke up
one morning and decided the corporate life in frigid Milwaukee, Wisconsin
just was not for him. Diving, surfing, sailing and just being on the water
everyday seemed much more appealing, so he quit his job and booked a plane
ticket for St. Croix. Jon has been working for SCUBA since October of 2008,
is a Captain and PADI Instructor.

Ross,
a PADI Instructor from New Zealand,
learned to dive and teach in the cold waters
off of Kaikoura and in Milford Sound.
He worked for several years on the
Great Barrier Reef in Australia,
where he met his wife Cindy.
The couple moved to St. Croix in March 2009
and have both worked for SCUBA ever since.


Chuck, is
a PADI Instructor who
just completed two years as a Broadreach
counselor.


Simeon,
is a globe trotting ESL teacher
and PADI Instructor who learned to dive
in the tropical waters of Thailand.
After a brief stint in his native Virginia
he decided to head down for some of the
best diving in the warm waters of St Croix.


Alex
is a Divemaster that comes to us
from the cross roads of America.
He is currently finishing up his degree in
Aquatics from Ball State University and
didn't have to think twice about replacing
the cold rock quarries for our beautiful
warm water.



At least as important as our dive
staff are the people who first meet and greet our divers.
