Captains log Thursday 18 May
North shore, Reliance.
Headed out for the AM Dive with some sporty seas. Two dives on Long Reef today. The first dive on Turquoise Bay produced Turtles, Nurse Sharks, Puffer Fish, and the return of Flat Top!
The second dive, at Wapa, produced a couple of sting rays, a school of creole wrasse , French Angel fish, lobster, and some blennies in the shallows.
The afternoon was all about Discovering SCUBA! 10 DSDs checked out Scotch bank, and while looking for old bottles thrown overboard from the 1800's, the divers checked out sting rays, porcupine fish, squirrel fish, yellow tailed snapper, garden eels, and a nice nurse shark.
It was really nice to have Savanna on board doing some diving with us during her break from College, and it's always a pleasure introducing Guests to the underwater world!
