Captains log, Northshore Saturday 29 April

With conditions more conducive to the Pacific Northwest than the sunny Caribbean, Reliance headed out under a threatening sky and bumpy seas for a pair of dives on Long Reef.

At Blue Chute, divers came across 5 Reef Sharks hanging out looking for a quick snack, divers also identified Sargent Majors, Clown Wrasse, and a few Juvenile Blue Tang, which funny enough are yellow.

Then off to Love Shack, divers came across a big (Bass) drum fish, a sleeping southern stingray, some large Barrel sponges, Tube Sponges as well as Mussa Angulosa, not to be confused with Medulla oblongata, or spiny flower coral.

Great job to Dave and Roni from Tucson, who started their open water certification with us today!
