Captain's Log 062717 Northshore By Captain John Gillette

Diving EdBuckley COMMENTS 30 Jun, 2017

Headed out for an AM trip under overcast skies and sporty seas.

On the outer east wall, divers checked out a couple of sharks, a nice size barracuda, several yellow headed jawfish, Rainbow parrotfish, and an amazing view off the wall into the deep blue!
On Sugar beach, aw Sugar, sugar..
Ocean catfish (nurse sharks) turtles, porcupine fish, red lipped blennies, and queen angelfish were the highlights.
Divers even got to see the final kill of a lionfish by Divemaster Matt, just before his speargun band broke on his final dive.

All the best to Matt as he heads to Baltimore to began another phase of his life. It was a pleasure working with Matt and watching him grow as a DM and Captain.

Why limit yourself to the surface? All the good stuff is on the bottom! Let's get wet.
